Mass Motion Dance has offered quality dance training since 1983 in Sturbridge Massachusetts. In 2003 Mass Motion Dance (MMD) was proud to announce the opening of a Boston Location! MMD is under the direction of Terri Gordon, a former member of the Boston Ballet Company and Tanz Forum, the modern dance company of Cologne, Germany. In both Sturbridge and Boston, our faculty is committed to our tradition of insuring quality professional dance training in a positive learning environment.
The Academy
Mass Motion Dance Academy offers quality dance training to students of all ages and abilities. The Programs emphasize technique, pedagogy and performance. Individualized attention and limited class size in a professional and friendly environment to ensure maximum student development. The children's program begins at age 2 and continues through age 18. In Boston the adult program offers a flexible schedule of classes designed for the college student and working adult, seven days a week!
The Dance Project
The Mass Motion Dance Project is a community service student group, dedicated to presenting the art of dance in a wide variety of local venues. Through the project, students are given the opportunity to take dance outside of the classroom and volunteer their services by performing or teaching.
BoSoma Dance Company
